(will NOT fit the 2DR coupe or 4DR sedan models!)
(will NOT fit cars with stock D series motors - D series motors see our product code YMCB005)

This is a specially produced exhaust kit designed for the 1996-2000 Hatchbacks that have or are getting a B series engine swap.
This system was designed around the "3 bolt" catalytic converters that came on B16/B18 motors.

WARNING - Even if you have a B series engine, depending on the header and catalytic converter combination you are using, you may need an extension pipe or reduction of the midpipe length. Part of custom engine swaps is - customizing - which may be needed for your setup. Assume this is NOT going to be a direct bolt on fit. There are too many combinations of SiR/LS/GSR/Type-R headers and different length factory catalytic converters to possibly make a "one size fits all" system when it comes to engine motor swaps. If you buy this set and then call us to complain that it's "too long" or "too short" we will refer you to this description.

This Yonaka Motorsports catback exhaust system is made of fully polished stainless steel, with 2.5" OD mandrel bent piping, and a 4.25" tip. Expect a quiet, clean, deep hum, without that irritating mid range raspy sound.

All installation hardware is included.

5 of 5 Nice finish, muffler tip too big March 15, 2020

Exhaust sounds nice and deep at idle, A little drone at steady throttle (I have test pipe, no catalytic converter), nice mirror finish on the stainless steel, unfortunately the "finisher" tip on muffler is too large at 4" but, thats personal preference. Install was easy no adjustment of hanging points required. Only suggestion would be to offer option to customize muffler tip.
Overall very satisfied, I'm thinking about ordering another for my k-swapped EG coupe.

Yonaka is one of very few companies that make a specific exhaust for a b swapped Civic hatchback. So far I'm impressed. The welds are nicely done and it's furnished with everything needed to assemble. When I called to all about exhaust options they were patient with me and emailed all the information we had already discussed. I'm impressed overall.
