This Yonaka Motorsports catback exhaust system is made of fully polished stainless steel, with 3" OD mandrel bent piping, and a 3.5" tip. Expect a quiet, clean, deep hum, without that irritating mid range raspy sound.

Our system was designed to be used with either the stock downpipe or a 3" aftermarket downpipe.
There are two adaptors included. One is 2.5" and one is 3". You use one or the other, not both.
If you have a stock downpipe, you use the 2.5" with the OE style donut cup.
If you have an aftermarket 3" downpipe, you'd use the other adaptor which has the 3" flange on it.
You cannot stack them together to make it the correct length for the JDM downpipe. It will still be short.

Direct bolt-on fit to OEM. All installation hardware is included.

***Please note you must have a 100% stock North American vehicle for proper fitment. If you have a JDM or WRX/STI downpipe installed, or any type of foreign or aftermarket exhaust component, the exhaust may be too short by approximately 4 inches. A muffler shop can add some extra pipe for you. If you have a trailer hitch installed, longer hangers may be required for proper clearance.***

Disclaimer: Recommended for off-road use only. Check with your local ministry of transportation in regards to exhaust regulations.

I also had some fitment issue with the exhaust on the short 2 1/2" to 3" adapter pipe connecting to cat converter. A new Subaru OEM half donut gasket seated too well into the yonaka short adapter pipe, causing the bolt springs to be completely compressed when tightened. Luckily my cat converter flange was badly corroded and when we replaced it, we welded in a spacer flange to allow the bolt springs to not be fully compressed. Hangers lined up fine and we made custom rubber hangers to get clearance from trailer hitch (as warned by Yonaka on the website). Overall pipe length was fine. In order to get better pipe clearance underneath, the muffler pipe tip center does sit slightly offset to the right of the plastic muffler indent on the bumper. Only noticeable when looking for it.  Pipe sounds great, it's quieter than the magnaflow I had on before. Although my wife says it's still loud. Thanks for all the swag Yonaka!

3 of 5 Fitment was questionable June 24, 2019

I had some fitment issues with the midpipe connecting to cat converter. It was not long enough. Oem hangers will not work because the muffler will rub and melt the bumper. The muffler looks like it is not centered and is offset towards the right.. need to take to muffler shop to get it fixed.

I had some fitment issue on the exhaust on the pipe connecting to cat converter - it was short and the two connecting pipe adapters neither fit.  Had to cut and custom weld a pipe to connect.  Also need to cut and extend the middle and muffler hanger for some clearance.  Apart from above fitment issue, I'm happy with  the exhaust performance on my FXT.
